Burned out! Already!

Well I did not plan well this year. I did not create enough to keep up with demand and now I am hurting. I stayed up working on elves last night until 5:30am this morning. I was trying to get ready for the Holiday Open House at the Rusty Bucket but I will not be ready. I was able to finish some things but not enough to be excited about. I finished what I call my staples, the items I know people like but I did not get to the real fun stuff. You know the stuff you don’t use a pattern for and you don’t plan out – you just create.

And now I can’t, I have a migraine/tension headache. I have taken my medication and now I am just waiting – hoping it will go away.  Which it will, but I cannot do anything until it is gone.

So with all the needless stress I have been putting on myself to get ready for Open Houses and Craft Shows I have decided to not do them this year. I have some items completed that are available for sale and if you are interested in them just drop me an email. I will ship internationally also but just remember shipping prices are crazy high. And I do accept Paypal also. A friend of mine teaches classes and she has graciously offered to let me keep the things at her classroom so I do not stress myself out any more but I will try to sell them here also. If you are ever interested in anything I make let me know. I have many orders to fill for Christmas items this year and that makes me very happy so I will be working on them also.

I did more mice stockings ornaments– these guys are adorable. The pattern is from Old Country Cupboard. They are available for sale for $10 each plus shipping.

Can’t have Christmas without Gingerbread Men! Available for $6 each plus shipping.019

And reindeer! This is also an Olde Country Cupboard pattern and a bit hit.  They are available for $12 each plus shipping.

028  Here are the elves – I love each and every one of them. They are very fun to make (when your head is not hurting). I decided to give the girls skirts,  aren’t they cute.  They are available for sale, they are $25 plus shipping. Drop me an email if you are interested, they will not be here long, my friend is taking them to her classroom this weekend. But I will special order them also. Sorry they are all gone – more to come!!

And I have a bunch of these little guys waiting to be decorated. I cannot remember what my plan was for them but I enjoy dressing them up without a plan. He is also available for $17 plus shipping.

004 Here is what my room currently looks like. You can distinctly see three work stations, I just kind of move around the room. I had to close the door this morning and not think about the mess, I cannot handle messes.

Well I am off to have some lunch and then rest up a little. Have a great day and don’t forget to find some stitching time!!

Jen-Wish I had half of your problems - sales are nil here and I'm pretty down about it all. You are very talented and lucky to have so much to do. Hope the headache gets better...you need to take a little time for yourself and get some rest!

Hey Heather - I just made those elves last night so they are all available. I am feeling better now, just dizzy from the meds now. And now that I have the crafting figured out I am better. I will put whichever one you want aside and a reindeer if you would like. Let me know!! :)

Get some rest Jennifer! Everything you've finished is soooo cute. But I understand pushing yourself to far with less then 3 to 4 hours sleep a night. I'll sleep a week when all of mine are finished, but everytime I get one finished, it just makes it all worth it. Take care of yorself!
