A Little Reminiscing

011_8A

Yesterday was one year since we lost out little Thelma Lou Bear. See the post here. I sure do miss that girl.  We didn’t think her sister would make it long without her because they had never been apart since birth. Louise is still with us thankfully, and she gets so much extra loving she will probably never leave us (I know this is not true). I just wanted to say I love you Thelma and one day we will all be a family again.

I was going through old pictures this morning looking for puppy pictures of Thelma and Louise and I found these pictures of the kids from almost 8 years ago when we first moved to North Carolina. Our house wasn’t even decorated at the time, we just had a small bit of furniture.

I couldn’t believe how tan we all were. We stayed outside in those days, kids playing in the yard or helping me garden. I miss my gardens at that house. I miss the time I had to garden at that house too! I think this one below was my birthday, my neighbor had made me a cake.

The  next picture is one of my favorites.  See that little one on the right, she wore her mommy out in those days. They say you always have one like yourself, I sure did!! SmileI think Alice’s shirt said “I may be little but I have a big attitude.” That’s my little Mini-Me!

I am working on some orders today, nothing new so I wont bore you with pictures but I hope to have some new stuff to show you in a couple days.

I hope you are having a great week thus far and finding a little stitching time, I know I am finding time, in between playing on the computer, work and life. Until next time!

I'm sorry about Thelma Lou. I'm glad that you still have her sister Louise. Your kids are adorable.
Let us see what you're working on!
