I had such big plans for Gary. I wanted to do embroidery, nine patches and embroidered blocks around the main block. But Alice is much to impatient for all that. She made me stay up until almost 2am begging me to finish. I did not finish. I ended up just surrounding the 15X30” block with 3” squares. I still need to embroider some details on the main block and quilt it but that is about all she will allow me to do. She says she needs to snuggle with it NOW! It is still cute but not what I wanted. I also used a flannel backing and for the batting I used flannel. I love how it feels, very cuddly without being heavy.
