December 1st–Can You Believe It?!

I finished up some stitcheries and I am currently stuffing them, well I will be when this post is over.

I have listed the designer of each pattern by the picture – I hope I listed them right. To explain that, I have a stack of probably 200 or more stitcheries that I have already traced out on the fabric I am going to stitch on. That is so I can just grab one and stitch. The problem is, when I did that, I did not indicate who the designer was, so now I have to go back and try to find the pattern in my pattern books (there are many). So, sometimes when I cannot find one I kind of guess by the style of the drawing.

I have a few more smaller ones I did not post because I am not sure what I am going to make them into just yet.

Primitive Stitches Pattern. This one is about 8 inches square. The background fabric is awesome. It is by Liberty Homestead. It is a hand dyed cotton fabric. They look and feel wonderfully soft.002

Chestnut Junction Pattern. This one is about 8 X10 inches. I stitched it on prairie cloth.

003

Homeberries Pattern. This one is about 4 X 8 inches.

004

Cedarberry Stitches Pattern, this one I am doing one bigger and this one I shrunk down to about 4 1/2 inches square, it is going to be a pin cushion.

I used this fabric on the back of the Global Warming and Jack Frost above. The left side is before I sprayed it with my walnut mixture.  I have a spray bottle that I keep filled ready for use. I love how it turned out and it looks great on the back of those stitcheries.

I also participated in a swap with Prim Pals for Christmas and sent that package off to my partner yesterday!! I hope she will love it.  I sent 1/2 hard of the red homespun in the background and three fat quarters, a little Christmas tree, two little ornaments, a gingerbread man and snowman I made.

I also have 5 elf doll bodies that are partially finished. I am stuffing their heads today also. It is amazing how much stuffing goes into those little heads.

I received a new pattern today from  Sweet Meadows Farm called Deck the Halls. It is so cute. I am set on finishing up what I started tonight so tomorrow I can start on these little guys!

That’s it for now. I hope everyone is having a great week and finding a little time for stitching!!

Girl... you are a fast stitcher !!! LOL
Do you have a deadline for the many stitcheries you are doing ?
I thrifted a 2000 or 2001 magazine and the projects/ideas/eye candy in it reminded me of your style... would you like to have it ? I will be happy to mail it to you, perhaps you could get some ideas for Spring.

PS(Have you been to the closing sale at P&S quilt shop? I'm thinking I may stop there soon if is still open)

Thanks for stopping by and for the nice comments!
Yes... I bookmarked the Whistle shop website...
Thanks !!!
About the Little Birds book, honestly, the only reason I bought was because it has a super cute stitchery pattern by Robin from Bird Brain Designs... it does have some other cute patterns: a small hand purse that is cute, a couple of quilts ;-), and 2 or 3 other small stitcheries. I don't think I will be making the bird sculptures/(dolls) ? But perhaps it will give you nice ideas for creating dolls of your own.
OH... the magazine I'm talking about is called;
Country Marketplace, if you like I can send you a picture so you can see if it is something you will like to have.
