Our First Snow

We had our first snow fall yesterday. I was working so they took some pictures for me to see the. I laughed because it shows after seven years we still have not adjusted to North Carolina weather from living further north. Notice the children in winter coats, shorts and no shoes!! I love it!

As you can see we did not get much. I took some pictures from my cell phone but they will not upload to my Verizon photo album for some reason. I keep sending them to my on line album, but who knows where they are really going. My work is about an hour north from here and I got a lot more snow there. It was so pretty.

At least we can say we got snow, not what the children were hoping for but something to make us feel like Christmas is closer!!

Have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to find a little stitching time!!

That's cute about the coats, shorts and shoeless just like my kids were. After looking at some of the other blogs I'm glad you didn't get too much snow.

Jennnifer,
Your post made me smile. Here in South Florida, no matter how cold we get, we don't give up our flip flops. We layer all our thin cotton clothing, put on a coat, and alas.........the "zorries".
BTW, miss the snow.

WE had some flurries over the weekend, so I heard, I didn't see any. It is different in the south but I like the amount of sunshine we have in winter. I've lived in Pennsylvania although I was raised in the south. I just hope we don't have ice, it always makes things so hazardous.
It was very cold here today but is supposed to be back in the 50s before the week is over.

That photo of your kids is priceless. I wish Mother Nature had given them a few inches more.
