Burlap Pillows

I finished up three pillows and took them to the Rusty Bucket yesterday. Pam, the owner found some vintage tobacco fertilizer and feed burlap bags when she went on a pick to an old barn last week. She asked me to see if I could make some pillows, so I did. They are awesome. Don’t you know I forgot to take pictures. I swiped this one off their Facebook page.

I have a ton of these left to make. They have to be cleaned real good.  I am using home spun fabric on the back. They were stored inside out so the colors are still very vibrant on most of them.

I was hoping to do more today but my allergies have a hold of me again. I was not able to sleep at all last night because I could not breath and was constantly sneezing.  My face hurts, it is bright red and not only itches now but also burns. I am going to try to take a nap and hopefully I will feel better when I get up. One day I will have that allergy testing done, my doctor has cut me off, they say don’t come back complaining about allergies until I go get tested.

My youngest had softball practice this morning so being outside didn’t help me much. Her coach called last night and they are trying to start a fall league in the town so they have to play 4 games within the next two weeks. She is very excited.

I hope you guys are having a great weekend and finding a little stitching time.  I am off to try to catch a few z’s!

Great looking pillows! Allergies are no fun... most of the times the test shows a person is allergic to so much the treatment stays the same as before the testing... lol!
