Where Have I Been!?!?!?

I have been stressing lately, not to mention being sick. Time for the never ending cold to be passed around the house. We get better and a couple weeks later get another bug.

Stress – ugh, when will it stop? It seems like never but I know I was just having a go for a bit and now that I figured out the problem I fixed it and I feel so much better!

The problem for me was the upcoming 2nd Annual Porch/Barn Sale that I was going to do in Raleigh. I was not stressed about what I was going to make or getting ready for it, well, not anymore than usual but something else was bothering me about it and I have been struggling with it for many months. That struggle was leading me to not want to work on anything.  I am not going to go into what the “struggle” was (it was not because we had to pay taxes on our sales – sorry, inside joke).  Anyway, I made my decision last night and I WILL NOT be participating in the sale.

I could not believe how relieved I felt after I made the decision. I will still be selling my items and have already sold quite a bit for the holiday season. I have sold all of my Christmas inventory. But I am working on a lot more.

So if you are looking for my items, check out my selling blog or check out The Rusty Bucket in Apex, NC.  They will also be having their Holiday Open House November 4th-6th and you will find a lot of my Christmas items there.

I wanted to also let those who are interested in Elf Dolls this year know to email me at stitchanything@gmail.com. I will only be making 6 more unless I have special orders which are paid for in advance. They are very time consuming and there are so many other things I want to make this year.

I will show you a sampling of some of my finishes since my last post.  I finished up some redwork ornaments. Different designers, Buttermilk Basin, Primitives Stitches, and others (I actually don’t have the names right now).

Louise loves Push up Pops (Me Too!!)  Don’t try to take it from her!!! Just kidding – it looks like she is mad doesn’t it, she isn’t really.

That is it for now. I am sorry I have been away for so long. Stay tuned because I will be having a giveaway in the next couple weeks. I seemed to have let my 3 year “Blog-o-versary” pass without having a giveaway a couple weeks ago.

Later! And don’t forget to find some stitching time!!

I was just thinking how quickly the porch sale was coming around. Between your job and your children alone you have so much to do, sounds like a good decision about the sale. The Rusty Bucket especially with Christmas coming should be great for you.

Jennifer it sounds like you made a perfect decision to not do the show...it's amazing how that can relieve our minds. Been there many a times...as maybe most of us have.

Your new creations are wonderful....and how cute is Louise...lol Everyone loves their treats!
