Nine Years Ago!!

It is hard to believe it has been nine years since I gave birth to my beautiful son. He is such a great kid and unique little character. He was the best baby ever and has always been the best behaved little boy. He takes after his Daddy, very low key kinda guy, nothing like me. He is beginning to do the typical brother stuff like teasing his sisters but all in all he is just the sweetest little boy you could know. I am so proud of him and I also worry about him. He is very hard on himself, more so than most I think, I hope he learns to let up a little and I will try whatever I can to help him with that.

Life has got to be tough being in between two girls, my husband can relate since he was the middle, in between two girls. But I think it also teaches him to be more aware of girls feelings, which will help when he is … oh no I can’t go there.

He tells me he is going to live near me forever and we are going to quilt together and we can share fabric. I am afraid of the day he changes his mind, I know he will but for now, he is my quilting, antiquing, yard sale going, cleaning buddy. All mine, my buddy, my little sohm-pea (inside joke), my little Helms boy.

I will not worry of the future I will enjoy the times together we have, everyday is special with him.
