I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend! I found some great information on Memorial Day on the Military.com site. Information I didn’t know even having served in the military. You can go here if you are curious.
I completed the Americana II quilt top tonight. I wanted to have it quilted but my husband and I went out to lunch and Home Depot today. It was nice just the two of us. That does not happen much. I picked up some plants and hope I can get them in the ground tomorrow before work.
Here is the quilt, the picture is a little crooked but I think you can get the idea. It has a 5'” border and I am going to bind it in the same dark blue as the little 1” inner border. I have not decided what color thread I am going to use. I have to see what I have or I may be taking a trip to get thread on Memorial Day.
Have a super weekend and I hope you are able to find a little stitching time!

Cute quilt! I think it has just the right amount of embroidery... and a great blend of fabrics too! Every time I go to Home Depot... I always take too long and come home with too much! lol! Happy Memorial Day!
That is a lovely quilt Jennifer. That red really pops too. Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day.
I spy a sheep and a cabin. My kind of things.
